The Illinois Tech Stuart School of Business in Chicago has a unique culture built on collaboration, interdisciplinary research, and innovation. The B-school is located in the South Loop neighborhood in Chicago, known for its mix of residential, commercial, and educational institutions. It is a vibrant area with proximity to downtown and everything that comes with it, like various amenities, cultural attractions, and of course business opportunities.

The Illinois Tech MBA couldn’t be more flexible. Aspiring MBAs can complete the program as either a part time or a two-year degree, in one of two formats – either over the weekend, or through a hybrid online format.

The weekend program is taught in person on Saturdays at the school’s Conviser Law Center, and the hybrid format is taught mostly online through Blackboard.

The Stuart School ensures small classes by design to give students dynamic interaction, discussion, and collaboration through project-based learning. The MBA content covers the key conceptual areas of management, plus electives to customize the degree, with a total of 36 credits – or 12 courses. Some of their more unique electives include Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Internet of Things.

MBAs can tap into any of Illinois tech’s research centers and engage with industry partners on research projects and programming to meet the needs of the next economy.

“All the courses have been just right for me to gain skills that I can apply to my job right away. The program is a nice blend of technology and business management, and the faculty are highly qualified. If you want to network and become better at leadership and communication, then this is the right school and program for you,” says past MBA Romal Mehta on Illinois Tech’s website.
