Nanyang Technological University’s MBA program is applauded for its sustainable campus and also known for its many cat cafes. The MBA is housed in a 40,000 square meter building holding the title of Asia’s largest wood building, made of mass-engineered timber from renewable forests.

The program hosts a total of nine core business courses, and electives from any of the tracks. Besides General Management, tracks include the new Sustainability and Innovation, Strategy and Innovation, Banking and Finance, Business Analytics, Marketing Management.

With COVID-19, with globalization, and the pressures of social concerns, I think that is something that gives students the ability to survive, thrive, and most importantly be successful in this particular environment,” says MBA program director Goh Kim Huat.

Life at Nanyang Business School is intense yet inspiring. Student life is packed with classes, group projects, assignments, case competitions, and business club opportunities to take part in. Students often compete in various international business case competitions which adds to the overall Nanyang MBA experience.

Students have a say in their experience at Nanyang. Every year, the student cohort elects the Student Executive Committee, or Student ExCo, where the elected are responsible for ensuring a holistic experience in the MBA.

Students are encouraged to work with the dedicated graduate studies career development office that curates a suite of career workshops, covering important topics such as professional etiquette, networking, resume writing, and interview preparation.

“Our participants have proceeded to join top companies such as Amazon, Apple, BCG, Deloitte Consulting, GE, GIC, Goldman Sachs, Hilti, McKinsey & Company, Microsoft, P&G, PWC, and Shopee, to name a few,” says Associate Professor and Assistant Dean of Career Services Ivy Kwan.
