The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Applied Economics and Management (AEM) is a two-semester professional degree that emphasizes coursework and a problem-solving project for a hands-on experience that will further students’ careers and give a competitive edge. From international trade and development to food, energy, and resource economics and innovations in technology, students in this program study a wide range of topics.
The MPS in Applied Economics and Management starts in August. The program is two semesters and 30-credit hours long.
Students in the program select one of five concentrations and complete one problem-solving project. Concentrations include: Applied Behavioral Economics and Individual Choice, International and Development Economics, Food and Agricultural Economics, Environmental Energy and Resource Economics, and Technology Management.
The program is also a partner with the CEMS Master in International Management program, allowing qualified applicants to participate in an international exchange with a CEMS partner school in order to develop skills in international business and management. Participation in CEMS extends the length of the MPS program by one additional semester and includes a summer experience.
