About the Program
Designed for college graduates with strong quantitative backgrounds, this 10-month master’s program provides training in analytics and communication, all within a specific context—finance, marketing, forensics, or strategy. Students prepare for a career in data-based problem solving by learning at the intersection of business and analytics. Along with a foundation in data analysis, attendees gain expertise in a specific function and a robust set of soft skills, becoming an analyst who can more the whole team forward.
Students apply for a functional track in either Finance, Marketing, Forensics, or Strategy as part of the admissions process and take required courses in the functional track, data analytics, and business communications/critical thinking in every term. Each class meets twice a week for two hours and fifteen minutes.
Program Format and Schedule
Over five six-week terms, students complete 20 courses: six in data science and analytics; five in business context, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration; four in a chosen functional track (except for Finance, which requires six); four electives (except in Finance, where only two electives are possible); and one required capstone project.
