About the Program
With an MS in Business Analytics, students are be able to strategically position themselves as a brand analytics managers, e-commerce project managers, web metrics analysts, or consultants to senior decision makers. Graduates are prepared to:
- Make business decisions based on analytic modeling
- Think strategically in management situations
- Unlock valuable statistical information from any dataset
- Develop analytical models to provide solutions across multiple business functional areas
Students with an undergraduate degree in business, economics, information technology, engineering, or statistics, an MS in Business Analytics can refine their focuses as specialists. Those with MBAs develop more in-depth analytical expertise.
Program Format and Schedule
Students start this online experience with an intense, in-residence week on the Indiana University Bloomington campus where they will build relationships with classmates, faculty, and staff and sharpen presentation skills through a case competition. The first fall term starts with an Introduction to Business Analytics and Quantitative Analysis. Students can complete this 30 credit-hour degree in 15 months to five years.
