Freeman’s STEM-designated Master of Finance (MFIN) program is designed for recent graduates with limited or no professional experience seeking careers in finance. The MFIN curriculum provides an in-depth study of equity analysis, valuation, fixed income analytics, derivatives and risk management. Students reinforce technical expertise developed in the classroom through participation in courses that provide real-world experience, including trading stocks in our Trading Center. Graduates of the program emerge with skills enabling them to pursue a wide variety of careers within finance.
The MFIN program begins in August and can be completed in as little as 10 months, or students can spread coursework over three semesters and complete a summer internship. Students complete 34 credit hours of coursework to develop strong fundamental analysis skills and practical applications. Tulane University is a member of the University Affiliation Program of the CFA Institute, and the program covers much of the material required to take the CFA exam.
