The STEM-designated MS in Finance program is a rigorous, one-year curriculum that prepares students to be a leaders in the dynamic, fast-paced, and intellectually challenging world of finance. The program’s core courses explore the nature of capital markets as they relate to organizational goals and provide an understanding of how broad principles of finance and quantitative methods can be applied to create investment strategies. While Whitman prefers students with degrees in finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics or other quantitative fields, they will consider students with other backgrounds as well.
The MS in Finance requires completion of 30 credits. The program is designed to be completed in one academic year on a full-time basis, but can be completed in two academic years by students who want to spread out their academic credits.
