Brief Description

The Department of Business and Economics (DBE) at the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) is a thriving academic unit providing integral education and research at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas such as Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Commercial Law, Health and Safety Management, Transportation and Logistics, Aviation Management, Airport Management, Management Innovation and Design, Digital Business Management, Risk Management and Insurance, Auditing and Forensic Accounting, and Public Administration. Dedicated to excellence, innovation, and real-world application, the department empowers students with the competencies, skills, and outlooks demanded in today’s modern-day global business environment. DBE is particularly committed to its experiential learning orientation. Students have access to industry projects, case studies, and internships, providing them with hands-on experience in developing state-of-the-art industrial competencies. DBE faculty consists of multinational experienced scholars with excellent research profiles and qualified professionals from industries, providing rich expertise and real-life experiences in the lecture room. MCBS DBE is focused on developing cutting-edge research, benefiting academic literature and practice in industries. With a multicultural student base and international outlook, the department prepares students to strive for success by implementing their gained skills and knowledge in a globalized business environment.
