Where environmental awareness and business collide is where Professor Andrew Hoffman has found his muse. This Michigan professor looks at the processes by which environmental issues emerge and evolve into managerial issues within organizations. Hoffman’s research, paired with his previous work at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, led to his appointment as the university of Michigan’s professor of sustainable enterprise, a joint professorship that includes faculty appointments in both the Ross School if Business and the university’s School of Natural Resources and Environment.

Hoffman published close to 100 research articles and he has written nine books.
