Ball State University’s Miller College of Business is located in Muncie, Illinois (population 155). The school offers an on-campus MBA program, an online MBA program, and a hybrid program that blends both. Students can also choose between getting a general MBA and concentrating their studies in one of six areas: entrepreneurship; finance; health economics, policy, and administration; information systems; operations management; and sales management.

For those who don’t want full-on MBAs, Miller offers three graduate-level certificates: the Business Essentials for Professionals Certificate (an all-online certificate for professionals who don’t have business degrees); the Health Economics, Policy, and Administration Certificate (for health industry professionals); and the Professional Sales Management Certificate (one of the only programs of its kind in the country).

Outside the classroom, students can participate in one of five business-specific campus organizations. In March 2014, the school also launched its MBA Leadership Case Competition, in which students from Miller and two other Midwestern business schools competed in teams of one to four students.
