What achievement are you most proud of in your professional career? At HP, I created a new process in which they could sell 3rd party devices. This process provided a new revenue stream. It was recognized as the most impactful project for the year in LATAM.
Why did you choose this school’s online MBA program? The MBA provided a Business Analytics concentration, and it the program was fully online.
What was your favorite part of being in an online MBA program? The interaction with the professors and classmates was easy and rewarding. The content was well organized and I could do the class at my own pace.
What was the most surprising thing about an online learning environment? Even though the program it was fully online, it was easy to connect with classmates and professors. The content was great and useful for my day to day activities.
How did your online experience compare with your in-the-classroom experience as an undergraduate student? The online experience was much better than the classroom. I could consume the content on schedule, which allowed to maintain my job which required me to travel 50% of the time.
What is your best piece of advice to an applicant for thriving in an online MBA program? You must be self-motivated. You should always try to keep with the pace of the class; leaving to do your work on the last day it would be impossible. Also, interact with your classmates they are a great source of knowledge.
How has your online education helped you in your current job? Thanks to this MBA. I was actually promoted to a more data-driven managerial position.
If you had to do it all over again, would you? Why? Yes I would. I learned a lot and it was cost effective.
What is your ultimate long-term professional goal? My goal would be to continue to climb the corporate ladder to a position where I can positively impact and mentor others.
