Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Looking back at my career, seven different jobs in two countries with a great multinational company is a career I am proud of but especially moving from Egypt to the UK, where I applied the experience I gained in Egypt to drive business growth.

Describe your biggest accomplishment at Warwick so far? Every day at Warwick is an accomplishment for me, the level of learning I get both academically and through the great cohort I am part of. However, I would say my biggest accomplishment would be being able to understand myself and get out of my comfort zone is the key accomplishment in the MBA so far as I have learned a lot about myself which I didnā€™t know in the last 30 years!

What quality best describes the MBA classmates youā€™ve met so far and why? Future leaders who are willing to support, challenge and inspire you and who know how to have fun on a Saturday night.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key factor that led you to choose this program for your full-time MBA and why was it so important to you? Choosing only one factor is tough, but I would say the class average age as I was keen to learn from my experienced classmates as they would have a wealth of transferable knowledge which I can grasp just in one year of study.

What club or activity are you looking most forward to in business school? Playing football with the MBA team in the university league.

What led you to pursue an MBA at this point in your career? Since I was 10, I always wanted to study abroad. After 11 years with the same company, it was the time to achieve my dream and step out of working life to reflect on my journey and shape my future.

What other MBA programs did you apply to? Manchester business school

How did you determine your fit at various schools? Top factors when deciding the MBA were ranking, class size, average age and nationalities represented which is important for the academic quality and cultures involved in the MBA and WBS ticked all the boxes for me as I was looking not only for the academic learning but also to learn about different cultures and industries.

What was your defining moment and how did it shape who you are? I would say the Arab spring in 2011. It opened my eyes to more facts about human beings and taught me that life is more than just a 9-to-5 job, it is about making the world a better place every day.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Running my social enterprise business related to the education field.
