Julia has racked up two promotions at Nordstrom where she has worked on buying and inventory deployment. Her newest role will start next month in e-commerce planning and merchandising. But the former Amazon and Microsoft veteran also is aiming her sights on an MBA program.

She is targeting Boston University, Boston College, Imperial, Georgetown, and potentially Oxford and Dartmouth if she can improve on her GRE score. This young professional has a 317 GRE with a verbal score of 157 and a quant score of 160, the equivalent of a 620 GMAT with a 3.5 GPA.
