Why did you choose an online format like Quantic?  The online functionality and distance education is remarkably familiar as I was taught this way through my master’s degree. The online format is very intuitive, user-friendly and easy-to-use. It incorporates both my learning styles of both kinesthetics and visualisation. There is no other better way of learning for me.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of Quantic’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school, and why was it so important to you? I was approached on LinkedIn to consider the opportunity of doing an MBA. At first, I was hesitant. However, I discovered in my career, working as an analyst and coming directly from an academic background, that I had little to no business knowledge so I could not relate to many leaders or stakeholders. The opportunity to do a fast-tracked, online MBA whilst still being able to work really piqued my interest. The clinching factor, however, is the fact that the MBA is in both business and technology. Technology is a passion of mine and something I really want to expand further into. I am honestly so glad that there is an opportunity for me to fast-track my career into something that I am extremely passionate about.

Quantic is highly competitive and only about 10% of students who apply to the MBA program are admitted. What advice would you give to someone who intends to apply to Quantic to increase their odds of being accepted? Do not be hesitant in going for the opportunity. My motto in life is the worst thing someone can say is no. Be your authentic self, and let them know your true intentions as to why you want to apply and what future opportunities this will provide for you. An important tip is to complete your fundamental courses as this gives the scope of what you will be studying, and you will be able to assess whether this MBA is best suited for you.

What achievement are you most proud of as an MBA student? My ability to work full-time in a job I love and being able to complete a full-time MBA alongside it. It has allowed me to believe the sky is the limit and pushed me to achieve my biggest dreams.

What achievement are you most proud of in your professional career? I am currently working my dream job, which I did not think was possible four years ago after completing my MSC. Not only am I working my dream job, but I am constantly being rewarded with more opportunities, accolades, and recognition for my hard work. It has allowed me to see that hard work not only pays off, but it is always appreciated.

What is your ultimate long-term professional goal and how has your MBA studies helped you make progress in this area?  My long-time professional goal is to work with behavioural science, data analytics and technology. My 3–5-year goal is to become a behavioural data scientist. My long time professional goal is to hopefully start my own business or consultancy where I can help people and society with behavioural change in the new AI world.
