Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of the MBA curriculum that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Pursuing an MBA in order to fill in my systematic finance and management knowledge gap has always been part of my career plan. I strongly believe that great companies and opportunities will emerge from the Chinese market in the next few decades and it is where I would like to explore opportunities and advance my career. CEIBS, the most prestigious business school in China, is famed for its ‘China Depth, Global Breadth’, which fits exactly what I need.

CEIBS is known for “China Depth, Global Breadth.” What is the biggest appeal of earning an MBA in China? At CEIBS, there will more opportunities to learn about Chinese companies, business leaders and their perspectives and approaches. If you want to work in China or do business with counterparts in China, there is no better choice than CEIBS.

What club, class, or tradition are you most looking forward to at CEIBS? I look forward to the Integrated China Strategy Project (ICSP). In this module, students work in teams to help companies address important strategic issues from a new perspective and develop innovative, effective and practical solutions.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I have worked in nine countries and with colleagues from more than 40 countries, engaging with stakeholders including international/national/private companies and regulatory bodies. These experiences fostered my flexibility to work in different cultures.

What do you hope to do after earning your MBA and why will that be significant? With a computer background and experience in project management and business development, I would like to explore opportunities in the digital transformation of traditional industries.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into the CEIBS MBA program? Find someone who knows you well to help you to review essays. I had a former colleague and good friend – one who shares a similar profile and successfully switched his career to tech after doing an MBA – help me to go through my essays and sort out my thoughts. It helped greatly to make my essays clearer.
