What word best describes your classmates and give an example of why? Enthusiastic. As an MBA cohort, we are inquisitive and encouraging of each other’s ideas, whilst at the same time remaining competitive. My classmates are open-minded and adaptable to change. In situations such as group tasks or cohort discussions, we have many different opinions, disagreements, and debates but we remain supportive of each other. That’s what a team is at the end of day.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Warwick Business School’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The key factor that attracted me to Warwick Business School was the involvement and guidance offered by the WBS team to understand my profile, address my queries related to the programme, highlight how the Warwick MBA can transform my career, and honestly advise me to define my selection criteria for the MBA course. The support and honest guidance offered to me led me to choose Warwick Business School as my International MBA School.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Warwick Business School? The activity I have enjoyed the most so far is “Courageous Conversations”, which is part of the LeadershipPlus module. It was an incredible experience for me that has taught me how to handle difficult situations. The activity involved enacting a real-life difficult conversation. During the re-enactment, I was able to reflect on the previous difficult conversation giving me the opportunity to look more deeply into that situation and analyse it from a different perspective.

What has been your best memory at the Warwick Business School so far? Why? My best memory so far has been the hospitality offered by the faculty and staff of Warwick Business School, along with the interaction with my diverse MBA cohort in the mesmerising natural beauty of the University of Warwick campus.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: The biggest accomplishment in my career has been valuing and embracing relationships. Being Human and treating everyone equally and respectfully makes all the difference in business. Give respect, take respect. That’s what I have earned in my career – the relationships.

What do you hope to do after graduation? I would continue to work in the healthcare industry. I have been a medical student and, for the past 10 years, I have been serving in the healthcare sector mainly in the hospital and pharmaceutical industry. The Healthcare industry has always interested and challenged me due to its complex structure and demand. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand and complexity to manage the healthcare systems have enhanced, and it is imperative for the professionals who have already served in this industry to come together to build more efficient processes, so that we can serve our society in a better way.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into Warwick Business School’s MBA program? Be yourself, be authentic. It is mainly about your curiosity and restlessness to transform and empower yourself and your career through the plethora of knowledge and experience of Warwick Business School and its eminent faculty.
