It’s a goofy question to be sure but an entertaining one, nonetheless.
Which of the top consulting firms most resemble Tom Riddle, the half-blood wizard thought to be the most powerful Dark Wizard ever, the character who later became known as Lord Voldemort?
Which would most likely take on the personality traits of Cedrick Diggory, the British Wizard who was selected as the Hogwarts Triwizard Champion and earned nearly overwhelming support from the student body?
And what firm could easily assume the traits of Albus Dumbledore, the professor who was thought by many to be the greatest Hogwarts Headmaster?
MCKINSEY AS TOM RIDDLE?
One obviously bored consultant ventured a guess, coming up with a list posted on social media that is as bound to irritate as it is to entertain:

Tom Riddle, aka McKinsey & Co.?
McKinsey – Tom Riddle
The Boston Consulting Group – Albus Dumbledore
Bain – Cedric Diggory
LEK – Draco Malfoy
Strategy& – Minerva McGonagall
Parthenon – Sirius Black
Oliver Wyman – Remus Lupin
A.T. Kearney – Ron Weasley
Accenture – Newt Scamander
Deloitte – Dolores Umbridge
PwC – Gilderoy Lockhart
EY – Neville Longbottom
KPMG – Dobby the House Elf
Of course, this lineup fueled considerable discussion and debate. One wag joked that “Deloitte is harder to get into than Hogwarts.” Another from Strategy& agreed with the association with Minerva. “Strategy& was set perfectly. We definitely have that old school, tough love mentality.”
A KPMG consultant took issue with being identifed with Dobby the House Elf, one of the most lovable and tragic characters in Harry Potter. “As someone from K, I think we might be Luna. We are still at the table / school. But if we have anything meaningful to say no one is going to listen anyways.”
