Aside from your classmates, what was the key programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? During my pre-MBA work experience, I felt a strong sense of achievement when I supported physicians and patients to gain better treatment outcomes by introducing cutting-edge medical devices. I strive to bring more new medical technologies to patients and to make a positive impact in the future! Pursuing this goal, the CEIBS MBA can fill my knowledge gap in finance and management and provide a great alumni network. An MBA has always been a step for my career path.

What course, club or activity excites you the most? I am running for the Women Leadership and Networking Club. Although in some MNCs in China, women leaders already equal or exceed men, the numbers do not show everything. Still many inequalities and problems exist for women. I hope to do something to support our classmates to achieve better awareness and leadership in the workplace, life and our community.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I was responsible for launching a medical device in the China market. I successfully built the market entry strategy and worked with more than 20 of the most prestigious experts in the US and China to initiate the first published expert consensus on a new procedure workflow. The initiative improved the adoption rate of the new product.

What is one thing you have recently read, watched, or listened to that you would highly recommend to prospective MBAs? Why? I recommend watching a webinar by CEIBS on How to Survive Amidst Radical Change and Uncertainty. You can access the article by following the official CEIBS English WeChat account. Nowadays, how to deal with ambiguity is a hot question. To be agile and resilient to changes is so important to all of us.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into your school’s MBA program? Try to think about your career plan and what you want to learn during the MBA journey in advance of submitting your application. There are a lot of things that the MBA can provide. You need to have clear priorities. Talking to students and friends who have relevant MBA experience is highly recommended! And everyone is open and happy to share experiences and thoughts with you.
