Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of IIM Ahmedabad’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Choosing IIM Ahmedabad was an evident decision for multiple compelling reasons. The faculty’s exceptional profiles left an indelible impression on me, and interactions during stakeholder meetings at NITI Aayog only reinforced their brilliance. The program’s elective courses perfectly align with my future aspirations, enhancing the appeal of IIM-A’s curriculum. Becoming part of the esteemed IIM-A community is an honor I eagerly anticipate. The case method approach, known for fostering practical problem-solving skills, instilled in me the confidence to tackle complex business challenges. Lastly, an unexpected touch of fate, as my one-year-old daughter chose a chit that said “IIM-Ahmedabad,” further affirmed this choice.

What has been your favourite course or extracurricular activity at IIM Ahmedabad? What has been the most important lesson that you have learned from it? Among my cherished courses at IIM Ahmedabad, marketing stands out – credits to Prof. Banerjees and Prof. Sahay. Their insightful pedagogy has distinctly shaped my problem-solving methodology.

What makes Ahmedabad such a great place to earn an MBA? Ahmedabad campus so far has been warm and welcoming with its lush green setting and magnanimous, red-bricked buildings which speaks of the institutional legacy of brilliance, success, and growth.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My proudest professional achievement was walking through the sandstone arches of the South Block (Prime Minister’s Office) to discuss the strategy with the Adviser to the PM for an important public transportation project worth $450M.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far: It has only been 4 months into the program. Personally, getting a hang of finance, especially understanding the way around balance sheets after 4 years of public policy feels like a big accomplishment.

What is your class’s favorite hangout away from school? Why do you gather there? I have only two words – Bhavesh Bhai! He is our local guardian. The most critical discussions happen over iced tea, which is generously given by Bhavesh Bhai. I am sure, everyone who has been at IIM-A would unanimously agree to that.

What do you hope to do after graduation? I would be looking for opportunities in climate tech and sustainability.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into IIM Ahmedabad? Manifest! Manifest your goals, dreams, and hard work. Do not get deterred by the thoughts of competition. Just compete with yourself to manifest your ambitions.
