What makes Atlanta such a great place to earn an MBA? It is a pivotal expression of global commerce that converges community, trade, and world diversity.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Emory Goizueta’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The Career Management Center (CMC). With the current downward trends domestically and globally in specific fields I was interested in, they had the answers and solutions best suited for the MBA journey my family and I would embark on. They have a robust network that continues to grow and were welcoming before, during, and after admission.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Emory Goizueta? The Goizueta Business School Veterans Association. The individuals serving in this club gave me perspective on an MBA from Goizueta.  I look forward to giving back by assisting future veterans interested in earning an MBA.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Growing a startup program within my military unit that continues to invest in our most incredible resource: the individual.

Looking ahead two years, what would make your MBA experience successful? Validating my knowledge and skills learned by earning a top-tier consulting firm position.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into Emory Goizueta’s MBA program? Be honest with yourself when generating your narrative of who you are. Do not tailor your application to what you think the program wants. Remain true to your values and what has brought you to where you are currently on your life path. Ultimately, you want to be a part of a program that wants to be a part of who you are and further develop you into a leader in business.
