What makes Atlanta such a great place to earn an MBA? Atlanta, being the hub of the southeast, was appealing to me because of the breadth of business that spans across the city where everyone can find a company that aligns with their values and aspirations while finding fulfillment within their work.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Emory Goizueta’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The key factor for me choosing Goizueta was how personal Emory’s admissions team made the application process. It was clear how much the institution values creating a family among a community of students and faculty. This was so important to me because it showed the character of the institution and how much effort they are willing to put forth to make a stranger feel at home.

What course, club, or activity excites you the most at Emory Goizueta? I am most excited about Emory’s Consulting Club because I believe having the opportunity to apply myself with peers beyond the classroom will be an integral part of my professional development as I transition out of the military and into the business field.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? Why? I am relentlessly dependable and will go out of my way to sacrifice and serve others.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest accomplishment wouldn’t be any item on my resume. From my prestigious mentors and irreplaceable peers at The Citadel to the selfless soldiers I had the privilege to serve with—the outstanding men and women I have had the opportunity to simply meet are what I am most proud of. Each friend, coach, and passing stranger built the foundation of who I am today, and I wouldn’t trade them for any of the accolades I have acquired.

Looking ahead two years, what would make your MBA experience successful? If I can walk away knowing I left a meaningful impact on those around me.
