Along with a variety of classes, UNC Kenan-Flagler offers experiential learning programs such as the STAR consulting program that allow students to develop real-world skills before graduation. What are some advantages you’ve seen in earning your MBA in Chapel Hill? A valuable and expansive alumni network. What has been your first impression of the Kenan-Flagler MBA students and alumni you’ve met so far. Tell us your best Kenan-Flagler story so far. The alumni and students I’ve met have a strong appreciation for the program, admiring not only the curriculum and professors but also the culture. Alumni frequently describe their time at UNC Kenan-Flagler as some of their best years, and say they wish they could go back! What course, club or activity excites you the most at Kenan-Flagler? I am most excited to participate in the Carolina Women in Business Club, which advocates for increased representation of women in business. Previously, I worked for a women-owned, women-founded small business, and I understand the importance of female leadership in male-dominated industries. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I oversaw the planning and execution of a Congressional Fly-In event in Washington, D.C., which consisted of meetings on Capitol Hill with members of Congress and their staff. The Fly-In event resulted in the creation of several pieces of legislation targeting issues discussed by our clients. What do you hope to do after graduation (at this point)?
