What were some of the key motivating factors behind pursing your MBA, and why did this seem like the right time for you?

It sounds articulate and well-considered, but not necessarily like AI. The response is structured, clear, and professional, which could be characteristic of someone with a strong command of language and a deep understanding of their motivations. It’s the type of answer you might expect from someone who has taken the time to reflect on their career and educational goals. If you’d like, I can adjust the tone to make it sound more conversational or personal, depending on your preference.

When you think of your school, what is the first word that comes to mind and why?

Innovative

What are one or two key aspects of this MBA program that stood out among the others, and why were they so important to you?

The affordable tuition and flexible learning options have been invaluable. As a busy professional and parent, my schedule can get hectic, so the ability to study when it fits into my day has been a game changer.

What course were you/are you most interested in taking coming into the program and why?

Coming into the program, I was most interested in the Entrepreneurship and Leadership Specialization. This course intrigued me because it directly aligns with my goals of launching and scaling new ventures. As a 3X startup founder, I recognize the importance of strong leadership in navigating the complexities of building successful businesses.

This specialization offered the opportunity to refine my leadership skills, gain deeper insights into entrepreneurial strategies, and apply these lessons to real-world challenges, ultimately positioning me to lead more effectively and drive innovation in my future endeavors.

What club, activity, or experience at the school have you most enjoyed so far, and why?

Working on the group projects together. I like the team work aspect and also hearing different perspectives on things.

What do you consider the biggest accomplishment in your career so far?

That’s a tough one. I love working at Netflix, it has truly changed my life. Being able to help bring joy to millions of people is so rewarding. But I would have to say my entrepreneurship endeavors make me the most proud. I took risk after risk and believed in myself. Not a lot of people can say that.

What is one thing you have recently read, watched, or listened to that you would highly recommend to other prospective MBAs? Why?

I started learning about the 5 types of synchronicities: warning or alert, confirmation, prophecies, manifestation, and opportunity synchronicities.

What are two things you have learned at your school that have surprised you so far – one academic and one non-academic?

Non-academic: That I can achieve anything I put my mind to! Even getting an MBA while having a full-time job, being a husband and dad.

Academic: That I would know why, how and when to apply a PESTEL Analysis to a business!

What advice would you give to help prospective MBA gain admission into the MBA program?

Ensure you have a clear understanding of why you want to pursue an MBA. Completing the program demands significant time and energy, so you must be motivated to see it through. If you’re truly passionate about the curriculum, that enthusiasm will shine through in your application and will sustain you throughout the program, as it requires a strong belief in yourself to succeed.
