Fun Fact About Yourself: I started learning Mandarin before joining ISB and after graduation, want to take the first opportunity to visit Singapore or China to polish my Mandarin skills.

Undergraduate School and Major: Indian Institute of Technology, Bachelors and Masters in Technology (Dual Degree) in Aerospace Engineering

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of the Indian School of Business MBA programming that led you to choose this school and why was it so important to you? ISB’s diverse PGP student cohort and its world-class faculty make it the best executive MBA experience in India.

What has been your favourite course or extracurricular activity at the Indian School of Business? What has been the most important lesson that you have learned from it? Leading Self and Teams was my favourite course at ISB. The most important lesson that I learnt from it was the fact that effective team decision-making requires not just cognitive diversity (for decision-making), but also processes to capitalise on the diversity (norms, cohesion, equal opportunity to speak, etc).

What makes Hyderabad such as great place to earn your MBA?: Hyderabad’s rich cultural heritage and its emerging role as the educational and professional hub of modern India make it an ideal place to earn my MBA.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Effectively led a team of over 70 customs officers at one of India’s largest seaports, JNPT and its attached CFSs.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far: Forming close friendships with people coming from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.

What is your class’s favourite hangout away from school? Why do you gather there? It has to be the Tree of Life in front of the academic complex where we hang out to discuss philosophy.

What do you hope to do after graduation? Anything that challenges me to apply the skills I learnt at the Indian School of Business and also to relearn new skills at the speed of relevancy.
