What has been your favorite part of St. Louis so far? What makes St. Louis such a great place to earn an MBA? My favorite part of St. Louis so far has been exploring Forest Park and its various museums. The professional, entrepreneurial and welcoming nature of the community around the MBA program creates valuable opportunities for building meaningful connections.

Aside from the global immersion, what was the key part of Washington Olin’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The Pass/Fail grading scale was a key factor in my decision to choose Washington Olin’s MBA program. This approach allows me to focus on truly retaining the material and concentrating on courses relevant to my future career, rather than simply cramming to pass exams. It creates an environment that prioritizes learning and long-term application over short-term performance.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Washington Olin? The Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) Club has been the most impactful club/course/activity for me so far. It aligns perfectly with my long-term career aspirations, and the guest speakers at the meetings have been incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, providing valuable insights into the field.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest career accomplishment has been successfully pivoting from internal auditing to information technology auditing. To make this transition, I dedicated myself to rigorous study and passed both my CompTIA Security+ exam and CISA exam, which enabled me to expand my expertise and advance my career.

Describe your biggest achievement in the MBA program so far: My biggest achievement in the MBA program so far has been securing and accepting a summer internship offer with a major company in my desired field. I’m especially proud to have achieved this milestone before the fall semester even began.

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far? My best memory as an MBA so far has been the global immersion trip to Barcelona. Experiencing and learning about a different economy and market opened my eyes to the considerations C-suite executives weigh when making critical decisions. It was also my first trip to Europe.
