When you think of Notre Dame, what are the first things that come to mind? How have your experiences with the Mendoza program thus far reinforced or upended these early impressions?

When I think of Notre Dame, I think of a university dedicated to making a difference—through service, building a strong and supportive community, and inspiring individuals to become leaders who drive positive change. Its rich traditions, commitment to academic excellence, and focus on creating meaningful connections around the world define its essence. My experiences with the Mendoza program have only deepened this understanding. The program challenges me to grow both personally and professionally, pushing me to aim higher, think bigger, and stay rooted in values that extend far beyond the classroom.

Aside from your classmates, what was the one key part of the Mendoza MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? One key aspect of the Mendoza MBA program that led me to choose Notre Dame was its combination of hands-on learning opportunities, like AIM (Applied Investment Management), and its commitment to the “Grow the Good in Business” philosophy. The AIM program, with its focus on managing a live investment portfolio, stood out to me as an exceptional opportunity to gain real-world experience in portfolio management and investment decision-making. At the same time, the “Grow the Good in Business” mantra deeply resonated with me. The belief that capitalism, when guided by strong values, can be a force for improving lives and driving meaningful progress aligns closely with my professional aspirations and personal values. Together, these elements made Mendoza the clear choice for refining my technical expertise while growing as a leader grounded in integrity and purpose.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Mendoza? The Intro to Finance course has been my favorite so far. Professor Battalio’s ability to connect complex topics to real-world examples made the class engaging and easy to follow for everyone, no matter their background. As someone passionate about finance, I found his teaching style both practical and inspiring, which made the course especially enjoyable.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: One of my biggest accomplishments so far has been becoming one of the youngest account managers in BCP’s history at just 25 years old. This role gave me the opportunity to manage a significant portfolio, collaborate with senior executives, and deliver impactful financial results, marking a key milestone in my professional growth.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far? Making friends who already feel like family has been one of the most meaningful parts of my MBA journey so far. These connections have created a supportive and enriching environment that I know will continue to shape my experience and last well beyond the program.

Mendoza is known as a purpose-driven MBA program that asks students to “Grow the good in business.” What is your mission and how has Mendoza been helping you realize it? My mission is to excel in investment banking by leading with integrity and making a meaningful impact. I strive to combine technical expertise with ethical decision-making to deliver value to clients and contribute to broader economic growth. Mendoza’s purpose-driven MBA program, rooted in the philosophy of “Grow the good in business,” has been helping me align my goals with a values-driven approach to leadership. Through its emphasis on ethical decision-making, experiential learning, and collaboration, Mendoza is shaping me into a leader prepared to drive purposeful and lasting results in the financial industry.

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far? Latin Night at CJs and the Mendoza football tailgates have been some of my best memories as an MBA student. Notre Dame football is such a unique tradition, and celebrating game days with my classmates during tailgates created unforgettable moments. Both experiences brought us closer together and highlighted the incredible sense of community at Mendoza.
