What makes London such a great place to earn an MBA degree? London is a global powerhouse for entrepreneurship, network and innovation. As a founder of two challenger beverage brands, I’ve seen first-hand how the city’s diversity and fast-moving consumer culture make it an incredible ecosystem to grow ideas into impact. Whether that’s spotting new wellness trends or mixing with different minds at an event, the city is alive with inspiration and opportunity.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of London Business School’s MBA curriculum and programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? What drew me to LBS was the rare opportunity to explore entrepreneurship from both sides of the table. After years building my own consumer brands, I want to bring my experience as a founder to supercharge the next generation of female-led businesses. Private Equity & Venture Capital electives will sharpen my investment lens, while the Entrepreneurship Summer School offers the perfect launchpad to test a new venture. At the same time, access to the LBS network of funds and investors will give me exposure to new opportunities. It’s the ideal environment to shape entrepreneurial instinct and build further commercial acumen within a network of globally diverse classmates.

London Business School is one of the most culturally and professionally diverse MBA programs in the world. What will make you unique in this class and how will it enrich the experience of your classmates?  In the classroom, I hope to bring a unique founder’s lens and be able to share real-world experience of how I started a business from scratch, negotiated with major retailers, raised capital, and led a female-founded startup through both pandemic chaos and growth milestones. I will also bring warmth, curiosity, and creative thinking.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at London Business School? I’m excited about the array of opportunities LBS has to offer – from Entrepreneurship Summer School to the LBS Conferences and Speaker Series. I’m looking forward to connecting with global business leaders and alumni, building my network and being inspired to think differently. I’m also excited by the various opportunities for international treks, whether that’s to discover a new foodie trend in Asia or simply being immersed in a new country and culture.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Most recently, it was seeing my brand Fix8 Kombucha as the official kombucha of Wimbledon, the world’s oldest tennis tournament. Bringing gut health to centre court was an epic moment for me!

Tell us your favorite memory: Celebrating female entrepreneurship by taking over the entire Wholefoods Market window display on High Street Kensington in London! To celebrate International Women’s Day in 2024, we partnered with ‘Buy Women Built’ and together with other amazing female-founded brands, branded the huge windows with our founder profiles and products. It was an amazing recognition of female-founded brands in Wholefoods Market and received great UK media coverage from the BBC and The Times in recognition of female founded brands.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into London Business School’s MBA program? Make sure you connect with as many alumni as possible to learn about the program and opportunities at LBS! Everyone I spoke to had a different experience to share, and without a doubt all of the conversations put together left me brimming with excitement for the MBA experience at London Business School!
