Undergraduate School and Major: Spelman College, Bachelor of Science in Health Science Most Recent Employer and Job Title: Accenture, Business and Technology Architectural Senior Analyst What makes Atlanta such a great place to earn an MBA? Atlanta is a thriving hub for business, culture, and innovation. The city’s booming industries, from Fortune 500s to fast-growing startups, offer unmatched access to career opportunities in consulting, marketing, tech, and consumer goods. With its rich cultural history, supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem, and diverse professional network, Atlanta provides an environment where I can grow both personally and professionally. It’s a city that values community, ambition, and authenticity, just like I do. Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Emory Goizueta’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Goizueta’s emphasis on experiential learning and career readiness stood out immediately. The small-by-design model means I’ll receive personalized coaching, close faculty support, and deep alumni engagement. Programs like Goizueta IMPACT, along with the strong marketing and strategy curriculum, will allow me to solve real-world business challenges early on. Additionally, being selected as an Entrepreneurship & Innovation Fellow and a Marketing & Communications Fellow allow me access to tools and platforms to amplify my voice and create lasting impact. The supportive faculty and staff empower students not just to grow, but to lead and leave their legacy. That’s exactly the kind of environment I was looking for. What course, club or activity excites you the most at Emory Goizueta? I’m most excited about Goizueta’s curriculum centered on the Goizueta Effectual Model (GEM). It’s not just a framework but a mindset that teaches you how to lead in real-time, when there’s no perfect playbook. GEM’s focus on navigating ambiguity, influencing outcomes, and taking intentional action feels especially relevant in today’s business world, where adaptability and authenticity matter more than ever. As someone who thrives at the intersection of innovation and strategy, I’m drawn to how GEM challenges students to lead with clarity and conviction—even in the face of uncertainty. It’s exactly the kind of learning experience I was looking for: one that sharpens your instincts while giving you room to grow into your own style of leadership. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest accomplishment so far has been leading a high-stakes client engagement at Accenture, where I managed a 500+ stakeholder communications plan during a major organizational transformation. As the sole consultant on the project, I stepped into a leadership role typically reserved for more senior team members, facilitating weekly meetings with executive stakeholders, driving cross-functional alignment, and delivering a clear strategy for enterprise-wide communication. The experience proved my ability to lead with confidence, influence at all levels, and deliver results under pressure. Looking ahead two years, what would make your Emory MBA experience a success? Two years from now, success will mean I’ve done far more than earn a degree—I’ve built something bold, meaningful, and lasting. First, I want to bring to life a product I’ve been dreaming about: a wearable beauty tech product that merges wellness, personalization, and sustainability. My goal is to thoughtfully develop and test this product during my time at Goizueta, gain the insights and feedback needed to refine the technology, and offer innovative value to consumers navigating beauty and self-care in a more intentional way. I also plan to help relaunch the Retail and Beauty Club at Emory to build a powerful hub for connection, education, and opportunity centered on the southern beauty and retail market. I envision a space that builds bridges between the Emory community and the broader business ecosystem—making Atlanta and the South a go-to region for bold conversations and partnerships in beauty and retail that benefit both students and surrounding communities. Lastly, I want to successfully pivot into a more strategic role that lives at the intersection of retail, consumer tech, and innovation. My goal is to take the creativity, leadership, and vision I’ve refined through both my personal and professional pursuits, and translate that into a career where I’m shaping future-forward strategies, building inclusive consumer experiences, and influencing how people interact with beauty, wellness, and technology at scale. If I leave Goizueta having built something impactful, created space for others to thrive, and stepped confidently into the next chapter of my career, I’ll know I’ve truly made the most of my MBA experience.
