The Yale School of Management is regarded as a purpose-driven program. What is your mission? How will your MBA at Yale SOM help you fulfill that mission? My mission is to elevate ethics into the field of decision making at the highest levels of business. The MBA from Yale gives me the tools to form and communicate these ideas with a specific “society” focus.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of Yale SOM’s MBA curriculum or programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The freedom of the second year mirrors my fantastic experience in undergrad at Brown. I hope to combine electives, international experiences, and volunteering in a way that makes sense for my journey.

What course, club, or activity excites you the most at Yale SOM: Sports analytics is something I’ve always had an itch to study, and I would be excited to take Professor Zaman’s class while I’m here.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2027? I like to think of myself as a unique leader that can rally a crowd around an idea. I hope to serve as an ambassador for my ideas and help my classmates grow.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Had a leading role in building a $100M savings pipeline for a major maritime organization. I PM’ed numerous initiatives, built ~30 data-backed business cases, and aligned stakeholders behind the transformation.

What do you hope to do after graduation? I hope to come back to McKinsey with a fresh perspective on what I’d like to do next, and how to make an impact once I get there.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into Yale SOM’s MBA program? Explore Yale’s programs with your passions in mind and find something you’re excited about. It’s really not hard, and It’s an ideal way to connect with admissions with a clear rationale of what you’d like to do once you get here!
