What was your first impression of the Tuck MBA students and alumni you’ve met so far. Tell us your best Tuck story so far. Tuck students and alumni are humble, accomplished, and genuinely kind. Every day, there is a moment when I am amazed by the kindness of people around me.

If I were to pick one story it would have to be my pre-MBA outdoor trip. You start a three-day hike with classmates and three days later you’ve developed amazing friendships. That’s exactly what Tuck is all about!

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of Dartmouth Tuck’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Most of my life, I was more athlete than student. Tuck’s rigorous core curriculum gives me the toolkit to tackle real business problems—now and in the future. The combination of a demanding core curriculum and an engaged, lifelong network made Tuck the clear choice. It’s where I can be my best self, both for me and peers around me.

What excites you the most about coming to live in Hanover? What is the one activity you can’t wait to do? Everything about life in the Upper Valley excites me. I chose Tuck intentionally—for personal and professional growth. If I must choose, one activity that I cannot wait to do would be learning how to ski. I think that leaving the Upper Valley without knowing how to ski cannot happen!

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Dartmouth Tuck? There are so many clubs and activities at Tuck that excite me. I plan to join as many as time allows. Two that are especially meaningful to me are the Health & Wellness Club and the Community Consulting Club. I’m intentional about being part of the Hanover community and giving back to anyone in need. We’re part of something great here, and we should help make sure people around us are equally as fortunate.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: During my first role at Better Collective, I was asked to create a shared service center in my country from scratch and bring 10-plus European entities under our new Hub. This created an opportunity for me to choose amazing, young talent that my country has to offer, and at the same time optimize and transform work processes around Better Collective Group.

What do you hope to do after graduation (at this point)? After Tuck, I plan to join a management consulting firm. I want to combine my experience in finance/operations work with the problem-solving skills I’ll build here to help clients tackle complex challenges. I’m especially drawn to helping organizations strengthen performance, resilience, and ways of working.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into Dartmouth Tuck’s MBA program? Applying to Tuck is a great decision, if it’s right for you. You need to reflect on your goals and really ask yourself, “What kind of MBA experience would I like to have so that my future self would be proud of my choice?” We will all likely live the rest of our lives in major cities, choosing Tuck gives you an opportunity to immerse yourself in studies, build long lasting relationships, and explore personal growth.
