Adem earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. A product of the New York City public school system, Adem was fortunate enough to earn scholarships to attend prep school and college. Adem is one of the first members of his family to graduate from college and earn a graduate degree. He received a B.A. from Haverford College, where he studied political science and philosophey.
Throughout his career, Adem has tried to pay forward the sacrifices his family made for him growing up. Adem has worked in a variety of roles across the private, public, and social sectors (even run for Congress). After Haverford, he became an organizer in Central Brooklyn. He then moved to Arkansas to help manage the re-election campaigns of then U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln and Governor Mike Beebe. Adem returned to New York, he became a Leadership Fellow at the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the nation’s first community development corporation.
Prior to entering HBS, he spent three years working in New York State Government. Adem recently served as the strategy and innovation officer for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), one of the country’s largest non-profit organizations dedicated to revitalizing communities and bringing greater economic opportunity to residents.

The essays, interview, school visits, recommendation letters and resume are informed by an integrated strategy that is managed within our All-In service by one dedicated and accountable consultant.
SBC’s comprehensive “All-In” engagement includes:
Kickoff meeting to identify Client’s strengths and weaknesses and to develop the unique approach to Client’s application process.
Telephone consultations to discuss strategy issues, challenges and questions. Telephone consultations can be arranged as needed at Client’s discretion but must be scheduled with the consultant in advance.
Written document review, including essays, resume and other communications with target schools.
Assistance with general questions that arise throughout the process.
Interview coaching and one mock interview.
One AdCom Flight Test™ with prior admissions committee member.
Post-application consultation to work through issues such as interviews, waitlist and deferral strategy and school selection.
Assistance with recommendations – advice on selection and preparation of references and high level review of recommendation letters to provide feedback on general approach.
Hourly First Services
