Greg holds an MBA with concentrations in finance and marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Elon University.  At Kellogg, Greg was an alumni interviewer, and through that experience, gained insight into what the top business schools value in candidates.

Greg Nantz is currently a Case Team Leader at the Bridgespan Group, a nonprofit advisory firm that supports nonprofits, philanthropies, and impact investors to increase their social impact. Since joining Bridgespan, he has advised on strategic planning efforts with a range of foundations and nonprofit organizations, supporting operating model design, conducting financial modeling, developing new organizational structures and providing recommendations on subsidiary structure (i.e., 501(c)3, 501(c)4, for-profit, etc.)  Most recently Greg has supported Bridgespan’s impact investing practice, conducting due diligence and portfolio analysis for impact investments on behalf of several major investment management firms.

Prior to Bridgespan, Greg was a research analyst in Economic Studies for the Brookings Institution, where he conducted economic analyses and authored policy briefs on topics including fiscal policy, labor policy, infrastructure finance, and the social safety net. His work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. Greg continues to be active in this space, with chapters calling for increased competition through state and federal labor policy reform to be published in a Brookings Institution Press book titled Inequality and the Labor Market in 2021. He began his career as a technology consultant in Deloitte’s federal technology practice.

    Working with Greg was a pleasure and the return on investment is clear. I was admitted into the Wharton MBA and its Lauder program and received twice the financial aid I hoped for. The initial investment to work with Greg was a bit of a sacrifice for me but it has very more than paid off as I believe Greg helped me to communicate my candidacy in such a compelling way that I was able to obtain admission to Wharton and Lauder during an incredibly competitive year and obtain a financial aid package than I anticipated I could attain.
