An alumnus of Management Leadership for Tomorrow and the Riordan Programs, Ijeoma is no stranger to admissions consulting and what it is that makes a strong applicant profile. As an MBA applicant she received support to help make her a viable candidate, and as a consultant with Veritas Prep she pays this forward. During her time at Columbia Business School, she was a member of the Hermes Society — a group that supports admissions by representing the school at events and liaising with prospective students. She has conducted admissions interviews in the Portland area and continues to work as an admissions ambassador for CBS. Ijeoma is a native of Oakland, California, and received her BA from UCLA. When she’s not helping MBA applicants, she spends her days as a merchandising manager for Nike.
Ijeoma specializes in admissions consulting for those on non-traditional career paths and for underrepresented minorities.
From its 2002 launch on the campus of Yale University, to serving more than 50,000 MBA applicants over the past decade, Veritas Prep has been fueled by the desire to help applicants get admitted to their dream schools. Its team includes more former MBA admissions directors and associate directors from top programs than any other admissions consulting firm. Check out the Veritas Prep website today to see why Veritas Prep is the leader in MBA admissions consulting.

Ijeoma has been honest with me in feedback from the very beginning. I actually connected with her a year prior to when I ended up applying and she was very quick to advise me on how to better prepare for my MBA applications. Throughout the process she has been straight forward yet encouraging, and without her critiques I would not have been able to put forth the application I did. She has so much talent, and I am truly thankful for all of her help!
Ijeoma is not the type of consultant to coddle you and tell you everything will be alright. She IS, however, the type of consultant who will whip you and your application into shape, and eventually get you into your dream school.
Ijeoma is honest, caring, and immensely competent at what she does. It was a pleasure getting to work with her on my applications.
Ijeoma had helped me get into my dream school. Her help throughout the application process was extremely invaluable and I do not think I would have been able to get into my dream school without her help. Her advice on school selection and standardized tests really alleviated a large amount of stress in the application process and helped me make the right decisions. She was always available to discuss any issues that I had during the application process down to the minute detail. Her feedback on my essays had really helped me share my story in a very compelling way, which I believe helped me get in into my dream program.
I had doubts about working with a consultant on my application previously as the costs were quite high but Ijeoma is absolutely worth the money. For any candidates that may be on the fence about working with Ijeoma, I assure you that her advice will help you get into your dream school as long as you are willing to put in the work.
Ijeoma was extremely helpful throughout the entire application process from beginning to end. I applied to a deferred admissions program, and from the start, she urged me to be very clear in defining my short-term and long-term career goals. Having someone to discuss my ideas and goals with helped me articulate my thoughts more clearly. She was always able to give me concise and specific feedback for my essays, and with every draft, I was amazed by the progress. She was such an invaluable resource, and even helped me connect with other helpful alumni to help me understand the benefit of going to business school. I couldn’t have gone through the application process without her help!
