  • Amazing MBA Coach
I can't thank Malvina enough for her invaluable help in my MBA application process. Despite living in London and the big time difference, we managed to establish a great cadence for weekly meetings. She was always very responsive, available, and reliable, which made the whole experience much easier for me. Malvina was instrumental in helping me brainstorm essay ideas and improve my essay drafts. She provided constructive feedback and suggestions that helped me craft compelling essays that showcased my strengths and goals. She was also genuinely interested in learning about my passions and career goals and shared news articles and daily observations that added more color and depth to my application. Beyond her professional expertise, Malvina became a great friend who was always there to support me. ...

  • Malvina Is A Must For HBS
Initially, Malvina's optimistic attitude combined with a sense of realism was what led me to select her out of the ~10 admissions consultants I spoke to. Looking back on my experience, going with Malvina was the single best thing I did for my business school application. Malvina was able to draw out key distinctions in my profile (despite coming from an overrepresented background), and worked with me on bringing my essay ideas to fruition (while also providing constructive criticism when necessary). She was available whenever I needed her despite the fact that we were in very different timezones (which was often!), and was as committed as I was to my success. Beyond essays, she guided me through the complex process of soliciting solid recommendations and ...

My experience with Malvina was amazing! I can confidently say that choosing her as my consultant was one of the best decisions I made during the application process. With her assistance, I was admitted into 5 M7 schools, including HBS and Wharton. I spoke with three other companies before I spoke with Fortuna. In my fit call with Malvina, I found that she was both encouraging and realistic. Her calm demeanor really put me at ease. In working with her for over 8 months, I found a lot of value in her coaching on how to explore my short-term and long-term career goals. Malvina was very organized and very responsive throughout the whole process. Despite our time difference, all my materials were turned around very ...

  • Malvina's advice is a MUST!
Malvina is simply the best coach you can have to advise you during your interview process. Long story short, I had practiced for my MBA interviews with other three coaches but I didn't feel comfortable working with them during the previous days before my interviews. I was nervous because I had only one week left before my interview and I didn't think I had enough time left to get ready. But luckily, I saw on P&A a post about Fortuna and Malvina, and in just a matter of hours they agreed to help me get ready in just a week for my interview. Despite the short time to prepare, Malvina walked me through the whole process with complete mock interviews and accurate feedback about my ...

  • Best Admission Consultant EVER!!!
Before selecting Fortuna, I spoke to dozens of consultants as I was not sure whether these professionals would bring value to the table. What convinced me was Malvina realism: she did not overpromise but she gave me a candid assessment of my profile and pinpointed weak points on which we'd need to work on. I really liked her attitude, characterized by a positive mindset but grounded with realism. After I spoke to her I knew I wanted her on my side throughout the application process. She was super available, helped me out extensively in the research and storylining phase. Then, we reviewed together countless iterations with substantial narrative twists until we found, over the course of 4 months, the version of the essay that really ...

  • HBS Interview Support
Malvina was a great resource in helping me navigate the HBS interview process, beginning with Pre-mock interview strategy sessions, to the actual mock and debrief, and then post-interview reflection support, etc. Long story short, Malvina was an instrumental part of helping me navigate this portion of the process, helping me refine my story, polish my responses, and then put my best foot forward for the last point of communication with the school before they made their decision. Highly recommend.

Malvina has offered fantastic support during my application process. She continuously gave timely and useful feedback with which I was able to refine my application. I went for the two-school package and applied to GSB and HBS, and was able to get into one of them, and was interviewed by the other.

I had an excellent experience working with Malvina. As a reapplicant, I can tell her feedback on my applications really made a difference. Her insights about the schools helped me submit authentic, high-quality applications and thanks to her detailed feedback on our mock interview, I felt very well prepared for the real one. In addition to being very professional, Malvina was also a pleasure to work with, always delivering feedback in a very kind and supportive way, and providing guidance throughout the entire process. In the end, I secured an offer from my top choice school. I very much recommend working with her!

  • She Is Outstanding! Go For Her!
Working with Malvina has been a fantastic experience. I was a reapplicant (rejected without interview), coming from an over-represented background to being accepted into a top-tier program. She spent countless hours reviewing my essays and application questions and guided me as I doubted each answer. When I struggled to figure out what I was trying to convey, she helped me understand the nuances of the questions I was answering and how to best differentiate myself. During my interviews, she worked tirelessly to conduct mock interviews (and she was tough!) so that I was well-prepared to tackle any question. I would highly recommend her.

Working with Malvina on my applications was one of the best decisions I've made. She is extremely knowledgeable of all the top schools, and she was able to always ask the right questions to push me towards a better application. Through direct work with Malvina, I got into Fuqua, and using the ideas Malvina and I discussed, I also got into Berkeley and Kellogg. Very much recommended!

  • Highly Recommend - Admitted to Wharton!
Malvina and the Fortuna Admissions team made all the difference in my business school application process. She played a significant role in my acceptance to Wharton. She spent countless hours reviewing my resume and essays. Her feedback was honest, and she was always kind in her delivery. We spoke on the phone at least once a week for two months to review my progress. She also coached me through the team based discussion interview (TBD) process. The practice TBD interview was invaluable. It greatly increased my confidence when going into the real interview. I would not be where I am today without Malvina! Highly, highly recommend.

I didn't have the chance to work with Malvina on my applications, but had the pleasure of working with her on my HBS interview. Despite her being located in London, she was highly responsive and flexible in accommodating to my work schedule to speak with me on the phone and answer my questions. Malvina was extremely knowledgeable of the HBS interview and was able to make the whole prep process very tailored. Based on my application, she was able to suggest areas of my profile I should highlight, what the interviewer may ask, and how to respond to those questions. The interview process is daunting, but Malvina was patient and honest yet supportive which made it all the more enjoyable. I couldn't have gotten into ...

  • Encouraging, Kind and Knowledgable - Highly Recommended
    6 years ago
I looked to Fortuna for help with my HBS admissions process after I was deferred in Round 1. I was paired with Malvina for interview coaching, and I really couldn't have asked for a better guide. She was compassionate in approaching the often stressful process of interview prep, and curious to understand me as an applicant. Moreover, she was clearly very knowledgable about the subject matter of HBS, and what specifically defines their interview process. We started our coaching with an introductory call in which she sought to better understand my application and goals, while also providing a thorough summary of what I should expect in my interview (a robust written guide with tips and practice questions was also provided). She followed up with an ...

  • Honest and encouraging interview coach!

Malvina is phenomenal. We worked together to prep for the HBS interview. Her feedback was detailed and honest, and her optimism was refreshing. Malvina encouraged me to, as cliche as it sounds, be authentic. Her vote of confidence helped ease the nerves natural to this process. Definitely recommend the investment!

  • Great coach!

Malvina was absolutely brilliant to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone applying to top business schools. She was always available to offer in-depth guidance (even at very short notice and just before imminent deadlines) and provide reassurance. She has a deep knowledge of the inner workings of top schools (such as HBS, Wharton and Columbia) and I have no doubt that I wouldn\'t have been anywhere near as successful with my applications had it not been for her.

I started searching for a company to work with several months prior accepting an offer from Fortuna Admissions. What amazed me about Fortuna Admissions was their expertise and excellent team of coaches with incredible background and expertise. After initial calls with the company’s head Matt Symonds, I was assigned to work with Malvina. And I must say that that was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life working with someone. Malvina was an incredible person, coach and mentor who pushed me towards my goal of entering the best MBA program. Malvina was always there, whenever I needed help and guidance. • Admitted to HBS MBA \'19 thanks to Malvina
    8 years ago
I decided to work with an MBA admissions coach 12 weeks before the HBS Round 1 application deadline. From the first minute of my 1,5h application kick-off call with HBS expert Malvina, I felt that she shared my desire to win. I felt so lucky to work with someone who is passionate about coaching, and even though we would only spend 8 hours together, Malvina clearly considered my application her Full-Time job. Malvina developed a highly customized essay framework based on the “key selling points” that she had identified from my responses to the “Fortuna questionnaire”. Already during my second call, I felt like if Malvina had known me for over 20 years. Between our calls, Malvina reflected in depth on my application and thanks ...

  • Great coach / great thought partner to work with
    8 years ago
I worked with Malvina for my R1 submissions to H/W as well as to review my app to S. I got accepted to both H&W and was rejected pre-interview to S. Absolutely no regrets about working with Malvina / Fortuna. In fact, the work we did together would have been very helpful for apps to other schools as well, if I had not gotten into top 3. It was a great experience working with Malvina. She is very knowledgeable about the schools, incredibly friendly and easy to work with. She really made an effort and ensured that I received all the time and help that I needed - including putting together my apps and preping for interviews. I am not sure if I would have ...
