Which application stands out in a cast of thousands? As dean and director of admissions, financial aid and student services at some of Americaās top undergraduate and MBA programs, I have had the pleasure of finding that gem at midnight after reviewing 50 applications and conducting 10 interviews in a given day. The big question at 12:00 am: do I go home or stay at the office and find a stellar applicant?
I reviewed over 70,000 applications, interviewed over 2500 candidates and trained nearly 700 admissions directors and alumni volunteers to select outstanding candidates for admission. I know what admissions directors are looking for to build a great class. I was on the other side of the table for 18 years travelling to over 40 countries guiding and counseling prospective students on admission and scholarship.
Headquartered in Southern California, with talented admissions consultants in North America, Europe, and Asia, Accepted can assist you, no matter where you are. With a staff of former admissions directors, published authors, and experienced consultants, weāve been helping MBA applicants to top business schools for more than 20 years. We know the admissions biz. We know how to help you get accepted.

I worked with Natalie on my MBA application and got accepted! She guided me throughout the whole process and her expertise gave me great confidence at every step. From our first call, she understood exactly my areas of interest and goals and she was ready to help me achieve them. Natalie helped me restructure my resume, advised me on essay requirements, and thoroughly prepared me for the interview. I couldn’t be happier with the help, support, and results I received. Highly highly recommended!!
Going into Round 1 applications on a tight timeline, I was still skeptical about the value of MBA admissions consultants but took a chance on Natalie because we clicked right away and I could tell that she knew what she was talking about. She is a superstar. Not only does she know everything under the sun about MBA programs, but she tailored that knowledge to my circumstances. She is a master conversationalist. She pointed out gaps in my reasoning, asked hard questions, bolstered my confidence, and pushed me to present the best version of myself to the adcoms. I got into all three schools that she helped me with (M7 dream school in my hometown and two T15s, all full-time programs). Also, she was extremely flexible with my goofy schedule.
I had a great time working with Natalie in preparing for my EMBA interview. She taught me how to answer questions, how to be confident, and provided me with great guidance for my application and interview. She was friendly, motivating, and cared about my results. Because of her, I got accepted into my target school with a merit scholarship! I highly recommended working with her to anyone looking to reach their goal.
Natalie provided personalized guidance on my essay writing for the MBA program. She is careful, thoughtful, and efficient, even though I am applying a little late. I got into a top Part-time MBA program!
Loved the format in which the mock TBD for Wharton was conducted. Sharing feedback on the following day with very pointed inputs tracing back to references of the video was a great way to build awareness of small things I was doing unconsciously. Great help for the personal interview as well with a strong idea of what the actual interview covers.
I almost gave up on applying after big-name consultancies told me that I perhaps shouldn’t even pursue an MBA. As an almost last-ditch effort, I reached out to Accepted who matched me with Natalie, and I am so thankful they did. I think this was probably the best decision I have made in these couple of years.
Right from the first ‘test-ride’ call, I could sense Natalie was in it for my success. She listened patiently, asked just the questions that made me think deeply but topped it all up by giving me the pep-talk that has been my nitro-booster for the grueling past year.
I got into T15 US schools, with US$100K+ in scholarships, including from some I never imagined applying to. I am an international candidate from an over-represented group.
Natalie has doubled up as my counselor and sometimes tripled up as a life coach. There are plenty of accounts here that talk of her ability to eke out just the compelling experiences, and then stitch it all up into exciting and cohesive stories that enabled me to shine in each application. I want to highlight how great having her watch over my process has been. She has really been there for me, watchfully yet encouragingly, keeping me on track through the GMAT/GRE, negotiating promotions, managing recommenders, interviews prep, and the not-so-occasional pep-talk to keep me going through a busy day-job.
She knows schools like the back of her hand. Natalieās experience has been invaluable as she would point me to the specific resources that I could research for each school that made sense for my specific goals. Without Natalieās guidance, I would have drowned in the blue ocean of information out there: school websites, old third-party blog posts, and boilerplate admissions events. I couldn’t possibly put a price tag on all that Natalie has pushed me to do. She is truly amazing!
I recently got accepted to Wharton MBA, Stanford GSB, and Berkeley Haas, and I can admit with absolute certainty that I could not have done it without Natalie. She was the person who realized my potential and encouraged me to apply to Stanford GSB. I was against it at first because I was led to believe that my chances were slim by other consultants, but she thoroughly understands the culture and values of each of the top schools and knows how to pull the best out of any applicants.
Before reaching out to Natalie and Team Accepted, I talked to other admissions consulting companies. The collective consensus was that I should qualify my expectations, as I would not even have a chance to target the M7 schools. On the other hand, Natalie was patient, thorough, and understanding. Instead of deterring me from my goal, she astutely identified weaknesses in my application and provided solutions to help me improve on those aspects. Meeting virtually for an hour a week for three months, Natalie managed my progress when I felt exhausted and mentored me when I was overwhelmed.
I had such a fantastic experience working with Natalie. After a failed experience working with another consultant last year, I took a risk with Natalie and Team Accepted, and it was the best decision I ever made. Natalie’s brainstorming, editing, interview preparation, and advice were outstanding. I am forever thankful for all of your help and guidance. Thank you, Natalie. You are a superstar!
I worked with Natalie to develop the application and prepare for interviews. I will be attending HBS in the fall, and it is all because of Natalie. She gave me incredibly helpful guidance to really make my essays stand-out. She really understood my story and made sure it shined. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure I was successful. I couldn’t recommend her more!
I had a great time working with Natalie in crafting my application. I signed up for the comprehensive MBA application package through Accepted. From the get-go, you can tell that Natalie genuinely cared and was invested in getting the best MBA outcome for me. She went above and beyond with the time she spent in ensuring that I had the best application. She was also very hands-on with the process and helping me draft the essay. I am really grateful for the interest she showed in my MBA candidacy and the time she was willing to spend in helping me. I was able to get into the top schools of my choice because of her help.
I cannot be more grateful for Natalie’s help during my admission process. I was placed on the waitlist by one of my dream schools. I was so lost and Natalie guided me through the waitlist process, helped me craft my waitlist updates. She never gave up on me, she encouraged me to keep following up with the school when I was about to give up. After sending several waitlist letters and rounds of following up, I finally got accepted by my dream school! I would not make it to where I am today without Natalie.
Natalie was instrumental in helping me get into my target school with a merit scholarship! I signed up for a package with Natalie after having tried another company/consultant that I was very disappointed with. Natalie had all the qualities and skills that I was missing in the first consultant I had booked. She was extremely professional, very responsive, provided great feedback and ideas, and most importantly – she was always so supportive of me and encouraging as I went through the application process. Many people do not talk about how demoralizing the application process can be and how a candidate may constantly second guess themselves or feel that they are not good enough for the program of their dreams. It is crucial that you find a consultant that is realistic, but also builds your confidence and pushes you to see what you’re worth. You will get this with Natalie. I am so grateful that I reached out to Linda at Accepted.com and was paired with Natalie. It was a small investment that is well worth it in the long run.
I got to know accepted via B-school selectivity index. https://www.accepted.com/mba/selectivity-index. Natalie contacted me for the free consultation session after I left my information to Accepted.
I think that I was really lucky to have that consultation session with Natalie. She demonstrated exactly what a trustworthy and capable consultant would do. Instead of hard-selling, she showed the willingness to understand me as a person. Instead of focusing on the master application, she guided me on how I should approach my long-term career goal and how the MBA could be leveraged to help me achieve that. I had talked to other consultants before, but after chatting with Natalie, I knew that I do not need to explore further and that she is the consultant who I will work with. I bought the 1-school package the next day.
Throughout the application process, Natalie has been extremely resourceful, encouraging, and caring. She has answers to all my questions, including sensitive ones, and guided me on how to approach the MBA application strategically and wisely. Her review and advice on my application package are very precise and profound. She has been motivational. I always get energy from her whenever I doubt myself.
I believe that Natalie contributes a lot to Accepted’s branding, and I will never hesitate to recommend my friends to her for their B-school applications
Hello all!
Accepted helped me get into 3/5 Top 15 schools. I will be going to Darden this fall !
Background: I spoke with multiple consultants before my journey began and ended up going with Natalie Epstein from Accepted (She was an admissions director at two of the schools that I wanted to apply to and she seemed awesome).
Journey: I went with the comprehensive school package for 1 school and the journey began! We would meet on a weekly basis, ironing out each aspect of the application. Natalie provided her expert and helpful guidance on each step and it was truly a wonderful experience. Natalie had very insightful thoughts and advice regarding each and every step and I believe it definitely helped bring creativity to my application and the much needed “life” to words. I was so impressed by the results that I requested Natalie’s assistance for all of my remaining schools (though I went on an hourly basis for each of the essays).
Natalie went out of her way to help me out on many occasions and I am really thankful to her for that.
All in all, I would highly recommend Natalie Epstein from Accepted for your MBA application. One advice from my side would be to start your journey with Accepted early so you can fully utilize their range of advice (incase you need to take your GMAT again for your target schools, as an example).
Thank you very much for all your efforts Natalie – I truly appreciate it!!
No words can describe how perfect Natalie was throughout the process. She starts off by listening to your story all the way from your childhood to where you are now. She really wants to get to know you before she helps you with curating your story.
In the process, she will also pool her resources, notably her husband, who is extremely knowledgeable and an expert on admissions, in general, to help you out.
I was waitlisted in R1 at my dream school, but Natalie never gave up on me. She helped me by asking the school for feedback and continuously throughout the process to finally help me to get admitted to my dream school.
She is your guardian in this whole process of admissions. Choose her and you will not regret.
Thank you, Natalie!!!
I worked with Natalie on general application strategy, essay writing, and preparation for the Wharton TBD. She took the time to learn my story and help me tell my story to the admissions department. Specifically, Natalie was part of the mock TBD session and provided direct and useful feedback that I used during the real thing. As a result, I will be starting at Wharton this fall!
I worked with Natalie on all parts of my application (essay brainstorming, essay editing, resume, short answers, interview prep), and she was incredibly supportive and helpful.
Her methodology for brainstorming and pulling content/themes together for essays was so helpful. She was supportive and gave me the confidence to share my full self in my apps but was also honest and direct when I needed to be pushed. She builds strong personal relationships with her clients and truly cares about their success both in MBA applications but in their careers and lives going forward.
I’m headed to Wharton in the fall on a merit-based scholarship, and Natalie played a huge part in helping me get here.
I started working with Natalie a few months before the round 1 admissions deadline and she helped with most aspects of the application (resume, essays, interview, etc.). She gave me the confidence to hit submit and nail my interviews! She helped keep me calm as the stress of applications sometimes felt overwhelming (especially when juggling that with work). With her help, I got accepted into 3 top business schools and received a merit-based scholarship. I will be attending HBS in the Fall and I can’t imagine doing this process without her help. I would recommend her to anyone applying to business school.
What can I say?
I absolutely could not have survived this journey without Natalie. Her guidance throughout the whole process was second to none. I really enjoyed all of our conversations and I could not be more appreciative of her continuing support. In the end, it all worked out better than I could have imagined. I got admitted to my number one choice of USC and it was largely thanks to Natalie.
She is, by miles, the very best out there. Would recommend her to any/everyone I know who is looking to apply.
I used Natalie on three separate occasions: first for a one-hour consulting session and twice for interview coaching sessions. First, I found Accepted’s rates reasonable when compared to other consulting services given Natalie’s background. Second, the communication between Natalie and me was great! She was always quick to respond. As for the consulting sessions themselves, Natalie was a HUGE help, especially with my interviews. I don’t have a ton of practice with interviews, and I don’t think I would have gotten into Columbia and Stern without her help. As a side note, I also had interviews at Fuqua and Darden last year. I did not use an admissions coach beforehand, and I was waitlisted at both schools. With Natalie’s help, I had much better interviews with Columbia and Stern and was able to get into both. I also liked that Natalie provided me with both verbal and written feedback, as it was helpful to refer back to her emails later. During our mock interviews, she was appropriately critical, but by the end, she left me feeling very confident in my ability to interview well.
I’m sorry for taking so long to write this, but the summer has been insane (as I’m sure it has been for you). Now that the dust has settled I wanted to thank you for your help in getting me to Kellogg. It is way beyond what I ever thought I was capable of and I wouldn’t even have known that I was a candidate were it not for you — I will never forget what you’ve done for me, and want you to know that you’ve contributed to something that is truly life-changing for me (even BEFORE I go and do whatever I will do during and after my time there). The work you do is truly life-changing. If there is ANYTHING I can do to be of help in the future, you know where to find me. I’m certain we won’t lose touch!
