Ori’s clients have been admitted to MBA programs at Chicago, Kellogg, Wharton, UCLA, NYU, MIT, LBS, Cornell, Tepper, Berkeley, UC Davis, and UNC.
Ori holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. After receiving his MBA, Ori joined Veritas as an admission consultant for Business schools (with a focus on Haas).
During the last eleven years, Ori has assisted hundreds of applicants with their applications, from strategy to interview prep. Many of these applicants are now MBA students in the US.
Ori holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science. After graduating, Ori worked as a senior software engineer and project leader at Mercury Interactive (HP) in the company’s main R&D facility.
Today Ori is playing with Satellites as a product portfolio manager with DigitalGlobe and mentoring startups at Boomtown accelerator, as well as serving as an advisor to Outder. He still dreams about playing professional basketball someday.
ARINGO’S roots were planted when our Founder, Gil Levi, was accepted at Harvard, Wharton, and INSEAD with a GMAT score of 650. Gil received a full, merit-based scholarship at Wharton upon admission. He formed ARINGO’s methodology based on the essay-writing tools that he originally developed as an MBA applicant.
ARINGO’S clients have been accepted to top B-schools such as Harvard, Wharton, Duke, INSEAD, MIT, LBS, and Kellogg with GMAT scores below 700. Since its inception, ARINGO’s heavy investment in research (over 3,000 man-hours and counting) has yielded a collection of invaluable resources for our clients.
ARINGO employs a Round Table Strategy with each consultant collecting expert opinions at the critical decision points throughout the application process. The final product is always reviewed by a second consultant to introduce a fresh perspective and ensure that it meets ARINGO’s standard of excellence. The collaboration within ARINGO’s team, which includes former admission committee members as well as experienced consultants with marketing and writing skills, contributes to the success of our clients’ applications.
ARINGO was founded by Gil Levi (Wharton MBA 1999), is owned by Shimri Winters (London Business School MBA 2005), and is operated and managed by Jenifer Turtschanow.

From my first conversation with Aringo (Shimri) to the one-on-one attention I received from my fantastic consultant (Ori Elkin) and the rest of the Aringo team, my experience was excellent. Coming from a technical background, they helped me understand what MBA programs would be suitable for me. Ori shared with me his impressive experience and offered me constructive feedback to help me shape a compelling story for my essays. With two scholarship offers, I chose Kellogg, for its strong brand and the great sense of community. I am very eager to join this incoming class of 2021 and embark on this new journey.
