“Once an MBA admissions officer, always an MBA admissions officer,” I always say. I am a former Stanford GSB and Tuck MBA Admissions Officer with a fierce loyalty to her bespoke, global client base helping them stay true to their passions as well as themselves, all while confidently navigating the deeply probing MBA application process and demystifying the “black box” of MBA Admissions. I have honed my craft after reviewing thousands of MBA applications and developed my “compelling vs interesting” methodology while working at Bain & Company.
I have oriented my entire career to advising, coaching and mentoring thousands of people on their career goals and pursuing their passions. I have been an independent consultant since the early stages of the offering, dating back to the days after my extensive tenure as a Stanford GSB and Tuck MBA Admissions Officer. Since launching my consultancy, my client acceptance rate is 91% for Stanford, HBS, Kellogg, Booth, Wharton, Sloan, Tuck, Columbia, and other top-tier MBA programs.
Bravura Prep has developed formula to guide clients to craft “compelling vs. interesting” applications leveraging the principals of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) that is reflective of the way MBA Admissions Officers assess candidates. There is no doubt in my mind that Tiffany played a CRUCIAL role in my admission to the GSB. After meeting with several other brand-name consultants, many of whom bucketed me in the “traditional finance” applicant category, I discovered Tiffany. That’s when everything changed for me – she didn’t make quick assumptions about who I was based off my resume or test scores but genuinely spent the time to get to know me as a person and not just as an applicant. By the time we sat down to write the essays for GSB and HBS and fill out the application, it felt effortless. Tiffany also provided outstanding interview prep for both my GSB and HBS interviews, and helped ease any anxieties along the way. Choose Tiffany not just because you want to get into a top program but because you also know this process requires deep introspection to draw out the best in you. She is the real deal!!
Tiffany has a genuine superpower in understanding people to their core – and when combined with her deep expertise of the MBA process, results in the best “right hand” possible for this arduous journey. She helped me connect the dots across the pivotal experiences in my life and provided insights that were critical to crafting my essays and story – and helping me understand myself better. Tiffany tailors her process to meet you were you’re at to help you achieve the best outcome.
Whether it was reviewing essay drafts or mock interviews or many last minute questions when drafting applications, Tiffany was always available to support via phone or text, and went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable with the final product.
I couldn’t have asked for better support during the application and decision processes and highly recommend Tiffany to anyone applying for their MBA! I don’t think there is a better consultant out there.
Tiffany made the entire application process feel far less daunting and actually FUN. It was a true joy speaking with her each week and having her help craft my story. She was incredibly effective in assisting with my application process, and I am confident that she played an integral role in me getting into all three schools I applied to (HBS, GSB, and Wharton). I highly recommend her to anyone applying to school – she is there throughout the entire process and achieves real results.
Working with Tiffany was a great experience, and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for that expert help in crafting the best application to truly stand out! I was a reapplicant for both HBS and Wharton, having been rejected without interviews the prior year. This time around – with Tiffany’s help and coaching – I received interviews with both and am enrolling at Wharton this August.
Tiffany took a tremendous amount of time to really get to know me (sometimes our calls felt like therapy sessions – in a good way!) and she helped me pull together the right story to highlight my background, experiences, and interests. She pushed me on my essays and provided actionable and tactical feedback. We did several interview prep sessions which made me feel very ready for the “big day”. During the entire process, she was always extremely accessible, willing to hop on an evening call or text exchange, follow up with recommenders, and even just cheer me on. I cannot recommend working with Tiffany enough!
Well, Tiffany is simply F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. Seriously, look no further. She is THE BEST.
I worked with Tiffany as a reapplicant. Last year, on my first application, I worked with another MBA admission consultant and I applied to two schools: GSB and HBS — was rejected at both without an interview. This year, I applied with Tiffany to only these same 2 schools and was accepted at both GSB and HBS (will be attending the GSB). For many reasons, Tiffany was a crucial part in showing the best version of myself.
First, Tiffany seeks to understand you holistically. She’ll ask about various facets of your life and understand everything about your way before discussing the essay. My previous consultant was suggesting my essay draft without barely knowing me… I felt that Tiffany invested a lot of time in understanding my story and had all the pieces she needed to help me decide what to write about.
Secondly, Tiffany is purpose and emotionally driven. She has a great mindset to help you on writing your story. Besides, her experience of working as an AdCom gives her a totally unique edge in advising applicants — it makes ALL the difference. Lastly, she genuinely vouches for her candidates. I could feel she was on my side vouching for me.
Thirdly, Tiffany has clear opinions, is firm/confident, and won’t let you go off trail. She will guarantee you are writing from your heart and in a compelling way. I used to write in a sort of “analytical” way and Tiffany was able to totally change my mindset. Beware though that she will tell you some hard truths and you need to be able to handle these opinions in a constructive way to learn from her feedback. But remember: it’s always to help you put your best foot forward!
All in all, I don’t think you can find an MBA admission consultant who is better than Tiffany; she really excels in her job and understands the process from absolutely all angles. Thank you so much, Tiffany!!!
Tiffany was a joy to work with and helped me throughout a very long application, waitlist, and eventual admission process, sticking with me until the very end. I’m incredibly grateful she was referred to me. Unlike a previous consultant, she went above and beyond to understand me and my story in order to holistically assess how I ought to position my applications.
I cannot recommend Tiffany enough. Her process was truly amazing. She really took the time to get to know me and my story—Forced me to dig deep, uncover what motivated me and helped bring out my most authentic self in my applications.
She’s honest, straightforward, knows what she’s doing, and deeply cares about her clients. Look no further!
Tiffany is an incredible guide, partner, and champion during the MBA application process! She is passionate about helping her clients harness their true and full potential which is evident from the first conversation until acceptance (and beyond). Her approach and feedback can be demanding, but while she can be tough she is fair, objective, and always motivating. I really enjoyed moving through the application process with her. She took the time to get to know me beyond what I liked, where I studied, and what I’ve done – she developed a deep understanding of who I am, the transformational experiences that made me who I am, and how an MBA could best equip me to make an impact in the future. I was able to hone in on exactly what I was looking to gain out of my MBA, but her process also allowed me to better understand myself. From the application itself to the essays and interviews, Tiffany is able to use her experience in the field to deliver supportive and meaningful guidance for how to navigate the complexities of applying. Aside from her constant and constructive feedback and support I also appreciate her flexibility, passion, and sense of humor she brings to every discussion!
Tiffany was beyond helpful throughout the MBA application process, but it was as much of a delight getting to know Tiffany as it was working with her. I strongly recommend the assistance Tiffany provided throughout the application process in each phase. Throughout every step, Tiffany went above and beyond to help me frame and polish my story, but even more so she helped me to be authentically me and helped frame that authenticity in a way that gave me my best shot.
At the beginning of the process, Tiffany really took the time to get to know me as a person to help me be true to myself throughout the process, challenging me to consider what makes me…well me. This was not a calculated one-way exchange though, Tiffany and I often traded stories back and forth into the night like two old friends. I told Tiffany early on to tell me her thoughts and honest opinions as they came up (not that she needed me to tell her, to find a way to weave them in gracefully) and her ability to do so pushed me throughout the process to discover more about myself and how to tell my story. Even as I discussed which schools to apply to, Tiffany encouraged me to prioritize my choices based on fit not prestige. However, I was never in doubt that she was along for the ride and prepared to craft my story for each school as needed, with her many examples of success and her keen eye for their varying traits based on her interactions with all of them. Then we got closer to the application deadline and got into execution mode. Tiffany went the distance with anything I needed anytime I needed it. Tiffany helped me to craft the story that I wanted to craft, and by this point, she knew my stories, what made me tick and was very good what was needed out of me for each story. Then came the interview stage. Tiffany didn’t try to tell me how to answer, but instead gave me suggestions for how I could do so effectively while pushing me to let my answers show the interviewers who I was.
Finally, Tiffany is incredible to work with, of course. However, beyond that working with Tiffany was truly a blessing just for the pure opportunity of getting to know such an amazing person. I’m sure there are many good tactical MBA consultants out there, but if you would one who cares for you beyond just the services they provide and will talk through the personal stuff even when things get tough then Tiffany is the one for you.
I started working with Tiffany in July 2018 for Round 1 applications. We kicked off the process with a series of discussions, where she took ample time to get to know exactly who I am. I felt that at the end of the process, she knew exactly what makes me tick, what I value, and who I am at the deepest levels. As a result, when it came time to write my essays, Tiffany was able to guide me in a direction that would expose my best self to the admissions committees. I felt that she was personally invested in my success, and made me feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. I can’t thank her enough for helping me get admitted to Sloan and Kellogg…I will be attending Sloan in the fall and can’t wait! Tiffany played an instrumental role in making this process a success for me. She’s the best in the business!
Tiffany has two incredible superpowers. She possesses an innate ability to listen to your words and hear the true meaning of your message. This allows her to help you accurately and honestly present your compelling narrative. Additionally, Tiffany has real-world experience on an MBA admissions team. She is not guessing when she gives you advice. Tiffany knows what is going through the minds of the people evaluating your application. This beautiful combination equips her with a skillset to expertly guide you through the tumultuous journey that is the MBA application process.
When I started researching business schools a friend told me, “You want someone that has experience on the other side of this process. No matter how much money you spend now, it will be inconsequential if you get into your top choice. There’s no point in dipping your toe in the water. You’re applying to business school…invest in yourself.” He was right. I hope you get to have the same joyful conversation with Tiffany that I did after being admitted to my top choice.
My academic stats: 3.3 GPA in Systems Engineering, 710 GMAT. No, that’s not a typo, and yes, I did get into all of the above programs – in Round 2. Many people subtly told me I’d never be accepted to a top business school with those scores. That subtle message made me overtly concerned throughout the application process. However, when my initial phone call with Tiffany spanned two hours, I knew that she believed in me. Her encouragement was the rock that held me in place during moments of doubt. Tiffany never viewed me through the myopic lens of a test score or a GPA. She maintained a macro perspective of my application and ensured that I did too. Tiffany helped me translate my professional experience in a highly technical and demanding role to someone without a military background, and her tutelage allowed me to articulate my post-MBA career aspirations through essays and interviews.
The MBA admissions process is a full contact sport with a very long season. If you look at successful athletes, you’ll find a great coach nearby. The best coaches boost the trajectory of great athletes. I’m immensely grateful for the time and effort Tiffany invested in coaching me. She is easily the best person you can find to help you achieve your business school hopes, dreams, and aspirations.
I HIGHLY recommend working with Tiffany in the MBA application process. Talk about someone who knows her stuff!! Even though I had quality work experience, education, and life experiences, Tiffany critically helped me SHAPE how to communicate – myself, my life story, my work experience, everything – effectively and in a way that culminated in a compelling, well-rounded story. You pay an “all-in-one” fee, and then Tiffany devotes incredible time and energy to you. She makes herself incredibly available and works with heart and immense knowledge. The essay writing process was daunting, and through my lengthy and involved conversations with Tiffany I ended up writing essays that I felt truly proud of. I knew I would never have written those essays without her. Beyond the essays, she is an incredible resource for the entire application process, helping with mock interviews and sharing her knowledge of the different school personalities. I simply would not have been aware of the kind of insights that Tiffany possesses – these insights were immensely helpful in helping me put together a complete application that ultimately got me into one of my top choices.
I began working with Tiffany in February 2018, and from start to finish, she was an incredible partner to guide me through the ins and outs of the MBA application process. Tiffany makes a concerted effort to get to know the real you behind the application to help you uncover your story, and how that story will translate successfully to an application. As the process moved forward, Tiffany was incredible with any step, providing regular touch points and opportunities to discuss questions or concerns. Her method fully integrates regular iteration into the application process, including essays, through which I was able to successfully craft an application that yielded an acceptance to Chicago Booth. I would recommend Tiffany to anyone looking to begin the MBA app process, in any round.
Without a doubt, I would not be in the position I am in today without the help of Tiffany. I came into the business school application process this year as a reapplicant. I had attempted to apply 2 years ago without a consultant and ended with 9 rejections from top-tiered schools. This year, I opted to give it my best shot and hired Tiffany. From start to finish she supported me in every way. She helped me to craft a story that was authentic to who I am. As an applicant with a non-traditional background and a non-traditional post-mba goal, I always feared that hiring a consultant would muddle my voice and push me to fit into a certain MBA category (Consultant/I-Bank/etc.). Tiffany did not do this. She ensured that my voice was authentic and true to what I wanted from our very first phone call.
Hiring Tiffany gave me access to someone who is EXTREMELY knowledgeable in the field who was willing to push me to think introspectively about why I wanted to go to B-school. If you want to learn about yourself, write the absolute best business school application that you can while becoming a better overall writer, then I would strongly reccomend that you give Tiffany a call.
Accessibility: Tiffany was always a text or a phone call away. Extremely accessible. Being located in the same city as her, I would actually run into her at each school’s Admission Info session in the area. She lives and breathes this b-school application process.
Application Outcome: Admitted to MIT, Yale, and Michigan. Withdrew from the waitlist at Duke.
Going into the application process, MIT Sloan was my top choice.
In Round 1 I got waitlisted at MIT and Yale. Tiffany worked with me throughout the Waitlist process to build out the best plan of attack. By round 2 I had gotten off the waitlist at both Yale and MIT, and had gotten into Michigan Ross from Round 2.
I have zero hesitation reccomending Tiffany. After working with her for months I am proud to say that we are now good friends. Give her a call and best of luck with your application!
Tiffany is such a delight to work with. Not only does her professional experience and background make her very qualified, but she also offers a level of heart and genuine care that I think makes all the difference as an admissions consultant. I was admitted round 2 to three of my top schools with her support. I found it very valuable to talk through my thoughts/concerns/ideas throughout the process, and having someone who knew the ‘inside’ was invaluable in crafting my application and prepping for my interviews. The application process itself can be stressful and emotional and having someone there every step of the way was incredibly helpful. I was a bit insecure during the process with a lower than average GMAT score (720) and an arguably ‘less sexy’ post-MBA desire to enter the HR field. However, Tiffany helped me put my best foot forward in the process and made sure that I was still true to myself the entire time. Despite my insecurities, I was admitted to three of my top schools, and it was extremely rewarding to feel completely genuine in the process. I highly recommend working with Tiffany!
After receiving my PhD in engineering and working in the industry for five years, I decided to apply to business school. My GMAT was 720 and my GPA was 3.8. Considering my background as a middle eastern and being a US permanent resident, I had high hopes of getting into one of the M7 b-schools. Before I started my applications in the first round, my friends who got into HBS recommended me to hire a consultant. Having a PhD and applying for grad school before, I did not see the need to do so. I applied to best schools in the first round including HBS, Wharton, Booth, and MIT without a consultant. I got dinged from all without an interview! Quitting is not in my nature, so I applied in the second round to Duke, LBS, Haas, and CBS. I got dinged from the latter two without an interview and got into LBS and Duke. Although LBS and Duke are great schools, I knew they won’t help me with my goals. So, I decided to work on my essays, recommendations, and post-MBA goals and apply in the third round. This time, I chose INSEAD, Stanford, and Kellogg. Ten days before the deadline, a dear friend read my INSEAD application and told me, it looks good, but a consultant can make it shine. So he introduced me to Tiffany. Though I was skeptical, I hired her. In just 10 days, she worked tirelessly and dramatically changed my applications and essays. She communicated with my recommenders also to improve my recommendations. Although I did not see the recommendations, I am sure she was very helpful to give feedback to my recommenders because none of them had MBAs and did not know what the expectations were of a business school recommendation. I remember that night that we submitted my Stanford and INSEAD application. Tiffany was awake all night working on my application and giving me feedback to improve my answers. She also totally changed my resume. In my disbelief, I got the interview invite with all three schools. My Stanford interview was first. Tiffany, again, helped me to prepare for the interview. We had several mock interviews sessions before my interview. Finally, I got accepted to the Stanford GSB and withdrew my application from INSEAD and Kellogg. I am excited and happy to get into to Stanford in round 3 with her help. I wish I had hired her before round 1 application and I am sure I would have been easily accepted into HBS and Wharton too. Although, my final decision would have been choosing the GSB over the others. Finally, I highly recommend Tiffany as a consultant.
