About Me:

I am a senior at the University of Pittsburgh and will be graduating this spring. Upon graduation, I will be joining a Big 4 firm in their Advisory group for Financial Service companies. I am looking to apply to Tepper’s Deferred Admissions Program as the flexibility and location are ideal for me. I have not yet taken the GMAT and am applying for a Test Waiver. Should I not receive the waiver, I plan on eventually taking the GMAT and reapplying with test scores in several years.

Big Life Wins:

A major life win for me was getting my post-graduation job offer. I have wanted to get into consulting for some time so to get an offer for a group I was really interested in joining was a big deal for me. This past semester I also served as the Project Manager for a capstone class in which we conducted a food rescue assessment of the city of Pittsburgh, provided recommendations on how to improve food donations, enhance the food rescue ecosystem’s effectiveness and responsiveness in meeting community needs and well-being. The classes’ findings were compiled into a final report and will ultimately be published and shared with the mayor and other city officials.

Post MBA Goal:

I hope to begin my MBA classwork around the time I am promoted to senior associate two or three years from now. I hope that after completing my MBA I will be in a position to either continue to move up in my current company, transition to MBB, or exit consulting entirely. I am still early on in my career journey and figuring things out, but know an MBA will add value to whatever I pursue down the line.
