Candidate:

Mr. Fistball World Champion

About Me:

As a young teenager I was an avid reader, searching for different books to fill up my free time. Hoping to broaden my view, my parents challenged me to read non-fiction books, two of which had a deepening impact on me. The first Turning Sweat into Gold by Bernardo Rezende, Brazil’s most renowned volleyball coach, taught me the value of hard working and discipline over natural talent. The second was The Mormon Way of Doing Business, by Jeff Benedict, that covers the routine of top executives, showing how they balance their religion, family and personal values with a high-competing business world. These two books gave me a vision of what I would like to be, and how I could become that person. I was dazzled by the men it displayed, how they solved their business problems in an integer manner, still achieving high results and creating value to thousands of people, and I believed that if I worked hard enough I could be like them.
