About 12 months into my first job, I was building confidence (okay, maybe too much confidence) and was placed in a higher-speed group at the bank. I found out very quickly that I was out of my depth and my manager pulled me aside and said he thinks I can do better. We developed an action plan to improve and I ended my time as a top performer.
Pivot industries to either consulting or something with a government/international focus. The world is big and exciting and I want a chance to explore as much of it as possible while learning more about how we all live our lives.
