Hi Mr. Law and Entrepreneur, Melisa here from Stratus Admissions. Based on your descriptions it sounds like 2 years military, 2 years paralegal and .5 year of personal start up. Hi Mr. Law and Entrepreneur, Melisa here from Stratus Admissions. Based on your descriptions it sounds like 2 years military, 2 years paralegal and .5 year of personal start up. So, almost 5 years of experience at matriculation next year. And, an acceptance to half the program already. You bring a very interesting set of experiences along with start up experience in undergrad. As a future entrepreneur, I like that you have tried a couple times so that you can come to the program really tuned into what you want to/need to learn. While I’ve worked with many aspiring entrepreneurs, fewer with multiple examples of giving it a go! AYou will be able to contribute your start up experience to classroom discussions. For your goals – you will want to be clear if you want to grow your own edtech company – or if you would like to spend time in an existing company before heading to start your own. Thinking through what you need may help give you that answer. Obviously edtech is in such a disruptive time – what do you want to solve as a CEO and why? What is personally driving you to these goals? I would want to dig in here more to pull out your authentic story. Overall, with a strong story, I think you have solid chances at Wharton. Best of luck!
