At McKinsey I’ve helped a wide range of clients, from education to banking, earning the highest possible rating and financing of my MBA in the process. At CISV, I’ve trained over 600+ participants as a facilitator, and recently created and led a team to promote partnerships with like-minded organizations, identifying 40+ partners in our 1st year.
I love to work in a multicultural setting drawing from a myriad of different perspectives to create something unique. To achieve that, I want to pursue an international career either in the US or Brazil. I’m still undecided on whether to continue in consulting (I love what I do) or to pivot into PE (to be “one step closer to the action”).

First, a confession. I dump my cereal in a bowl before pouring the milk in. It’s because I can better control the ratio of milk to raisin bran or whatever I’m about to eat. Nonetheless, you win the game because you know how to get someone’s attention. Well done. You are obviously working for one of the most prestigious organizations in the world and the firm that is the number one employer feeder to HBS. There were 82 members of the MBA Class of 2020 at Harvard that had been employed by McKinsey and 41 entered the MBA program directly from the firm. That counts for a lot. There were 82 members of the MBA Class of 2020 at Harvard that had been employed by McKinsey and 41 entered the MBA program directly from the firm. That counts for a lot. Does it overcome the fact that you do not come a feeder undergraduate school or that your GPA is below the class average or that your GMAT score is also below the HBS class median by 20 points? I think so, partly because of your global perspective and professional goals. Your extras, moreover, in helping to inspire children to create a more just and peaceful world as a volunteer at an NGO demonstrates not only your good heart but your leadership abilities. I’ll bet Harvard agrees and Chad Losee, the MBA gatekeeper at HBS, begins to pour his milk in the bowl before the cereal.
