Ultimately gaining acceptance to Cornell, most folks in my life questioned my decision to leave my NESCAC school to come home to community college. Second, the NFL team internship was for post-grads but they made an exception to offer me despite having a semester left of school, and so I moved for the job and took a leave of absence from Cornell.
Immediate goal is to run a professional sports franchise’s business (COO, CCO, etc.), likely working up through a team’s/league’s internal Strategy arm, long-term is to start a boutique firm providing advisory/consulting services to teams/leagues.
