Hi Ms. Aerospace Engineer, this is Kristen from MBA Prep School. I think your background and professional progression in aerospace engineering will be incredibly impressive to Tuck. I also really like that you have some tangible career wins to share with quantifiable outcomes. Your priority will be on emphasizing how you have made a distinctive impact. My initial concerns would be your amount of work experience (which is on the higher end of the spectrum) and the reasons behind your career goals and why Tuck. From the experience angle, it sounds like you have a clear reason for pursuing an MBA at this point (making a pivot) but you will want to showcase what will make consulting recruiters interested in you given where you are at in your career. As Tuck is the only school you have listed here, it seems like you have strong reasons for pursuing it. Make sure your application is very tailored to why their program in particular is right for you, from a personal and professional standpoint. I think your odds are pretty good there, but you also might not want to put all of your eggs in one basket and consider some other targets. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss your application strategy further!
