Hi, it’s Jennifer Jackson from Stratus Admissions. You have a lot to love in your profile — amazing community work, startup experience, consulting, quantitative experience. These plus being from Botswana will be very appealing to admissions committees. You do have a softer GRE score and don’t mention what the breakdown on it was. Your good GPA will help mitigate the lower GRE. You may want to consider re-taking, especially if you’ve just taken once so far. Since you’re currently getting a Master’s, it will be critical for you to explain WHY you need the MBA now in order to reach your goals. They don’t like degree collectors so be clear that the MBA is the degree that you need to get where you want to go. Yale seems like a great fit for you given its emphasis on social impact. Your work with the government and small businesses should be music to their ears. Good luck!
