I don’t see many — any? — women interested in cybersecurity, which I think will help you stand out in this process. That being said…it feels like a very niche goal…can you achieve this coming out Fuqua? Who’s hiring at Fuqua in this space today? What are the options that are out there? Not to say the Fuqua won’t “get it,” but I think you need to tailor your plans a bit more so that Fuqua thinks, “Oh yes! We can definitely help her do that!!”

Honestly, I think you will do great in this process. I get a bit nervous about one-school strategies — so risky!– so just think about that and whether you are open to adding more programs to your list.

Your stats, experience and dedication to diversity and inclusion will be a welcomed addition to Fuqua community. A couple things to think about as you are putting together your application revolve around your post-MBA goals. Through the limited info here, I am having trouble understanding the tie to cyber security from financial client management – so as you are working through your story – make sure this comes out clearly. What have you seen/experienced through your career or personal experiences that draws you to cyber security? Do you want to work in a large established company? Or in the start-up world?
