Boise State University College of Business and Economics

Boise State is helping to ingrain a sense of leadership, maturity, ethics, teamwork and drive in all of their MBAs. The school is in Boise, Idaho, which is known for its growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and for its proximity to outdoor recreation, hiking, biking, and skiing.

Life as an MBA student, the school says, is “busy but rewarding.” The Boise State University College of Business and Economics offers a few different MBA options. One is their Career Track MBA which is designed for highly motivated students without a business background, with little to no work experience, in a full-time format. MBAs attend daytime classes over the course of two years, with a total of 51 credit hours.

The focus of this program is in real-world experience, with teamwork at the core of all they do, exercising project management skills. These MBAs must complete an internship in the summer between their first and second year.

The other MBA Boise State offers is their Professional MBA, which is designed for mid-career working professionals who want to elevate their skills. This MBA is taught in a part-time format, with weekly evening classes. This program takes around 24 months to complete, with 43 credit hours required.
