The Broad College Master of Science in Accounting is a specialized STEM-designated program that positions its graduates for success in the accounting field as one of the most in-demand careers. The 30-credit, comprehensive program prepares students for professional exams and offers four distinct specializations: taxation, information systems, public and corporate accounting, and transaction services.

Program Format and Schedule

The MS in Accounting program offers a challenging 30-credit course of study that can be tailored to fit professional needs and goals. This program will be delivered in person, and it can be completed within 12 months for students who have a degree in accounting. Students without an undergraduate degree in accounting may be required to take prerequisite business and accounting courses in addition to the 30-credit MS program of study, which can be completed in 18-24 months. The program can be started in the summer, fall, or spring semester.
