About the Program

For decades, the Krannert School of Management has used an analytical business approach to develop industry leaders. Krannert’s rigorous MS Business Analytics and Information Management (MSBAIM) program curriculum and experiential learning help develop students who aim to build upon their science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) backgrounds to establish, lead, and grow prominent organizations.

Krannert is also home to Krenicki Center for Business Analytics & Machine Learning, a hub for businesses to connect with Purdue researchers to find answers to data-driven business challenges. The center also hosts multiple student-led consulting projects, conferences and competitions.

Program Format and Schedule

Krannert’s Online MS Business Analytics (MSBA) program is a 100% online program that is asynchronous and can be completed in just 3 semesters. Students can complete a total of 30 required credits on their own schedule without affecting career and/or family responsibilities. The program is based on Krannert’s residential MS Business Analytics & Information Management (MS BAIM) program that has been consistently ranked in the top 10 in the United States. The curriculum enables students to have broader exposure to various functional areas of business and how they use information. Further, students will also be able to specialize in areas of interest such as supply chain. This program offers unique treatment of data analytics, gamification, and optimization modeling and significant depth in SAS modeling and usage.
