The Master of Science in Business with a concentration in finance program provides students with training in financial and funds management, derivatives, and security analysis. Graduates will be equipped for financial decision-making positions in corporate, investment, and governmental institutions. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the competitive and quantitative challenges of the financial industry. Students will acquire the skills needed to analyze, develop, and communicate solutions that take ethical implications into consideration.
The Master of Science in Business with a concentration in finance program consists of 30-45 credit hours and may be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. Courses are held in the evenings to accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals. Students without a sufficient background in calculus may be required to take 3-credit hours in a prerequisite course. Up to 12-credits in graduate-level foundation courses may be recommended for students who need to strengthen their quantitative skills and business studies background.
